Mr Zelenskiy is a world leader and his potential visit to Bulgaria tomorrow would be a recognition that our country is an important partner of the EU and NATO, which provide key support for Ukraine", We Continue the Change co-chairman Kiril Petkov told journalists in connection with the media reports about an upcoming visit of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to Bulgaria on Thursday.

Earlier today, Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel neither confirmed nor denied the information about Volodymyr Zelenskiy's visit. "The press office of the Council of Ministers will provide you with the necessary information when available", Mariya Gabriel told journalists. According to Bulgarian media, the possible visit of the Ukrainian President to Sofia will be at the invitation of the Bulgarian government.
