Bulgaria’s Premier Nikolay Denkov assured the MPs that Bulgaria would not send to Ukraine anything that would harm the country’s defence capabilities. Premier Denkov’s answer came in response to a question by Vazrazhdane party, which demanded a clarification after Defense Minister Todor Tagarev said earlier on Friday that the Ukrainian President had asked for "everything except for aircraft."
With regard to Bulgaria’s entry into Schengen, Premier Denkov said that it depends on three factors: the legislation that the National Assembly needs to adopt, border protection and convincing the EU partners that Bulgaria has done its job, which requires strong foreign policy activity.
