Energy Minister officially launches expansion of Chiren gas storage facility

Energy Minister Rumen Radev officially launched the expansion of Bulgaria's only gas storage facility in Chiren. The expansion will pump up to 10 million cubic meters of gas per day and will provide an increase in the volume of active gas to 1 billion cubic meters. The expansion is important not only for Bulgaria and the region, but also for end users, Minister Radev said at the opening ceremony.
