National Council for the Prevention and Protection of Domestic Violence will maintain a register of cases across the country, MPs have decided, finalizing changes to the Protection against Domestic Violence Act. In addition, the Ministry of Interior will create a National Information System for the prevention and protection against pedophilia, as well as a register of perpetrators of similar crimes.

The order for the protection of victims of domestic violence is subject to immediate execution, another text of the law states. The abuser is prohibited from having any contact with the victim. The abuser will also be removed from the shared residence for a period determined by the court and the victim will be entitled to free legal aid.
