Silver for Tihomir Ivanov in the high jump at the Athletics Balkaniada

The Bulgarian athlete Tihomir Ivanov placed second in the high jump at the Athletics Baklaniada held in Kralevo (Serbia). The 29-year-old Bulgarian jumped 2.25 meters, or 3 centimeters less than the Turkish Alperen Acet who grabbed the gold. The third place went to the Serbian Slavko Stević with 2.18 meters.


The best achievement in Tihomir Ivanov's career is 2.31 metres from August 11, 2017 in London. He has won eight consecutive outdoor national titles in the men's high jump.
