Emil Neykov takes the bronze at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv

Bulgaria's Emil Neykov has won a bronze medal in the single skull at the Men's World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Plovdiv

The Bulgarian rower was overtaken in the A final of the event by Piotr Plominski (Poland), who took the gold, and silver medalist Andrew Sheehan (Ireland).

This is Emil Neykov's third U23 World Championship medal, following gold at the Planet Championships in Račice, Czech Republic, in 2021 and bronze at the championships in Varese, Italy, in 2022.
