World musicians gather at a jazz festival in Pernik

On August 11th and 12th, the Krakra Fortress in Pernik will host its first ever international jazz festival with the participation of musicians from all over the world, the municipal administration announced. 

Grammy Award nominee Thana Alexa, Australian band Brekky Boy, and Danish star Ida Nielsen, who was part of two of Prince's backing bands for six years, will perform on stage at the fortress. In Pernik Ida Nielsen will be playing with the American band The Funkbots.

The festival will also feature world jazz hits performed by Euro Cubans, Juan de Marcos González, Juan Munguia and Carlos D'l Puerto.
