The situation in the Black Sea is not normal, but everything is under control and should not affect the economic activity and the security of the Bulgarian citizens, Chief of Defense Adm. Emil Eftimov said in Varna commenting on the actions of the Russian military fleet in the Bulgarian economic zone.

"We are not alone, we are part of a powerful defense alliance; we have information about everything that happens in the Black Sea by air and water. We keep monitoring, analyzing and responding at political, state and military levels. We are careful in our actions, so as not to give rise to provocations. We comply with good maritime practices and do not conduct exercises in the economic zones and near the coasts of other Black Sea countries," Adm. Eftimov added.
