8.5% is the annual inflation for July

In July 2023, the monthly inflation as measured by the consumer price index was 0.9% compared to the previous month, as the annual inflation for July 2023 compared to July 2022 was 8.5%. 

In July 2023, compared to the previous month, the largest price increase was for entertainment and culture (+7.5%), restaurants and hotels (+2.9%), housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (+1.8%) and healthcare (+0.7%).
