Filippo Fortin wins the first half-stage of Tour of Bulgaria

Italian cyclist Filippo Fortin won the first half-stage of the 70th edition of the Tour of Bulgaria. Fortin was the first to finish the 70 km distance from Sofia to Pirdop. Fortin, who is part of the German team Maloja Pushbikers, received the trophy from the Mayor of Pirdop Angel Gerov.

During the second half stage, cyclists will cover the 90 kilometer distance from Pirdop to Troyan. It will start at 15:30 pm.

The 70th edition of Tour of Bulgaria started on August 26 and will end on August 31.
