Rain and thunderstorms expected on last days of August

Tomorrow, August 30, in the morning in the western regions, and around and after noon in the central and eastern parts of Northern Bulgaria, there is a strong probability of hail. Relatively cool air will continue to penetrate from the northwest. 

Temperatures will drop and the maximum will be from 26°C-27°C in the northwest to 34°C-35°C in the southeast regions where the wind will still be from the south. There will be almost no precipitation, with mostly sunny weather.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, there will be low clouds and fog before noon. Around and after noon, clouds will develop in isolated places, and there will be showers and thunderstorms. Light to moderate wind is expected. Maximum temperatures will be at 27°C-29°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 26°C-27°C.

Over the mountains, in Western Bulgaria, rain clouds will develop until the morning, and around and after noon, mainly in Stara Planina Mountain Range, there will be short-term precipitation accompanied by thunderstorms, in some areas - temporarily intense. In the mountains of southern Bulgaria, during the day it will be almost without precipitation, mostly sunny. There will be moderate, temporarily strong, wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 23°C, at 2,000 meters - around 16°C.
