More than 100 experts from 18 countries are participating in the Zinc & Lead Expert Committee Meeting 2023 in Plovdiv, BTA reported. The event is organized by the German Society of Metallurgists and Miners (GDMB) and Bulgaria’s lead-zinc producer KCM 2000.
"The Green Deal is inconceivable without non-ferrous metals, because they are vital for energy storage, especially nickel and zinc", Sabina Grund, Associate Director Sustainable Development, International Zinc Association, told journalists.
