US approves potential 1.5 bln sale of Stryker armoured vehicles to Bulgaria

The US State Department has approved the potential sale of Stryker armored personnel carriers to Bulgaria worth $1.5 billion, the Pentagon announced, as quoted by Reuters. 
The sale will include 183 machines of various modifications of the Stryker type, including infantry transport, command machines and medical evacuation machines. 

The Pentagon's Defense and Security Cooperation Agency has notified the Congress of the possible sale.
