So far, the bodies of three victims of the floods have been identified- two men and a woman. Two women are still missing. There are no new reports of missing people, the Ministry of Interior said. Police teams regulate traffic on all traffic arteries on the territory of Tsarevo Municipality. “Nearly 4,000 tourists were affected by the flood. All of them are safe and have food and water", said Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Zaritza Dinkova after a meeting with hoteliers and tourists at the Nestinarka camping site.

The bridge near Sinemorets is now passable, so people in Rezovo and Sinemorets can head north. Police teams control damaged or destroyed property in order to prevent looting, the Ministry of Interior said.

Firefighters are involved in pumping water from the ground floors of hotels and houses. They are also involved in providing food to the needy. Volunteers are working on the spot and assisting the residents of the village of Kosti which was heavily affected by the floods.
