Bulgaria has systemic problems with prevention and with the recovery of affected areas after disasters. This is what Bulgaria's Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov said in an interview with Nova TV regarding the flooding along the Southern Black Sea coast. According to him, after the disaster, the state reacted quickly and in the best possible way.

Denkov assured that by the end of September, compensation should be paid to households affected by the floods.

The Municipality of Tsarevo promised to grant up to BGN 2,500 /1,278.23 EUR/ in aid for equipment and furnishings to those in need, with the conditions being that the respective dwelling is legal and the main residence of the affected person.

The state will allocate BGN 30 million for those affected by the floods along Bulgaria's Southern Black Sea coast, announced the Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova.
