Eighth-grader Andrey Stefanov, who studies in the First Private Mathematical High School in Sofia, won a gold medal at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI) in Georgia. He became first in a competition against 92 participants from 24 countries, the Ministry of Education announced.
