Trakia motorway and the Sub-Balkan road near the town of Gurkovo, including the Passage of the Republic (Hainboaz), remain blocked by protesting miners. Today, miners and energy workers from the town of Pernik also held a peaceful protest on the national road to Kyustendil near the bus station.
Yesterday, the National Assembly rejected their request to postpone the adoption of the Territorial Just Transition Plans for three coal regions - Stara Zagora, Kyustendil and Pernik.
