Bulgargaz proposes natural gas prices to be 4.6% lower than in September

Bulgaria's public supplier Bulgargaz has announced that it is proposing that the price of natural gas for October be 4.6% lower than the value for September.

This was possible after the company's successful tender at the end of 2022 to supply LNG for 2023, Bulgargaz said. The final bid price is 30.8 euros per megawatt-hour excluding excise duty, VAT and transmission.

Thus, Bulgargaz will be selling natural gas to final suppliers and persons with a license for production and transmission of heat at prices similar to those in August, when a kilowatt-hour cost 30.5 euros. The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission is expected to approve the proposed price.
