For now, Bulgaria is not discussing the provision of military aid to Israel, stated Defense Minister Todor Tagarev after the meeting of the NATO defense ministers. He explained that Bulgaria's main priority at the moment is to help the Bulgarian citizens who wish to evacuate. "You know that one flight of Bulgaria Air was secured, then we sent the government plane twice, it was even ready for a third flight", added the minister.

When asked by BNR whether there are indications that Iran and Hezbollah are trying to take advantage of the situation in Israel, Todor Tagarev replied that there are already attempts at attacks by the group, which is potentially very dangerous for the escalation of the conflict.

Bulgaria's Minister of Defense called the footage of the attack by Hamas against Israeli civilians, shown by his Israeli colleague Yoav Galant, "terrifying". This is an unprovoked terrorist act, which will undoubtedly turn the world community against Hamas, Tagarev said firmly.
