The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not been informed about kidnapped Bulgarian citizens. The ministry is in contact with the embassy in Tel Aviv, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel said, quoted by BNT.

Currently, 37 Bulgarian citizens and their family members have sought assistance in leaving the Gaza Strip. "We are in contact with the embassies in Tel Aviv, Cairo and Ramallah. We are looking for opportunities to assist with their evacuation, which is not possible at the moment, as there is no agreement to open the Rafah Border Crossing," Gabriel added.
