The withdrawal of the derogation from Lukoil Neftohim Burgas for the import of Russian oil will not have a direct and significant impact on the price of fuel in Bulgaria, Zhivodar Terziev, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Oil and Gas Association, predicted to BNR. "Not the derogation, not the lack of derogation, but the decisions "for" and "against" unbalance the market and lead its participants to schizophrenia", he explained.

According to Zhivodar Terziev, the intervention of the state in a private structure is a problem and gives bad signals.

"We need predictability for years ahead, not "today for tomorrow" decisions," said the expert. He is categorical that if we follow such a policy, Bulgaria will not soon see a new foreign investor in the Energy sector.
