Badminton player Petya Nedelcheva breaks Guinness World Records

Bulgarian badminton player Petya Nedelcheva made it into the Guinness Book of Records, Sportal sports news website reported. 

She and Russian player Anastasia Russkikh hold the world record for the longest badminton rally in a competitive match with 154 strokes during the third set.  This happened in the women's doubles match between Nedelcheva and Anastasia Russkikh against Shizuka Matsuo and Mami Naito (both Japan) in the second round of the 2010 Swiss Open in Basel, Switzerland, on 18 March 2010. 

Petya Nedelcheva retired from her sporting career a few years ago and is currently the head coach of the Bulgarian national team. She has participated in three Summer Olympics - Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012. She has won the European Cup six times
