Buyers pay 150 euros per vote, police say

According to information of the police and the prosecutor's office, vote buyers pay up to 150 euros per person in the region of Burgas. At the moment, a total of 29 investigations are being conducted in the region against persons who are suspected to be preparing to disrupt the election process. About 90 signals for vote buying have been received so far.

In the municipality of Devin 128 people were registered at one address. In Smolyan, 65 people were registered under this scheme, and in the village of Goren Varli Dol - 57 people.

Actions against election violations are also being carried out on the territory of the entire Haskovo region. 17 warning protocols have been issued for suspected electoral violations.

Similar police actions are taking place in other regions of the country.
