US business delegation visits Bulgaria

A delegation of 15 leading US companies is visiting Bulgaria on 1 and 2 November, the US embassy in Sofia has announced. The visit is organized by the American-Central European Business Association and the US Department of Commerce. It is the biggest trade and investment delegation coming to Bulgaria in recent years. The delegation includes representatives of US companies operating in healthcare, IT and communications, cybersecurity, agriculture and defence. The guests will have meetings with representatives of the Bulgarian government and with business leaders from the private sector to discuss ways to boost trade and investments. Annual trade between the US and Bulgaria stands at around USD 2 billion.
