Two new railroad cars for the transport of bicycles and ski equipment will be attached to the Rhodope narrow-gauge railway train, beloved by Bulgarians and foreign tourists.

Starting from November 4, every Saturday and Sunday, the special cars will be part of the compositions of the "Rhodope" trains, moving along the line September - Dobrinishte - September, BDZ announced.

The new cars are converted mail wagons. It is expected that next year an additional railroad car for persons with reduced mobility will also be completed.

The construction of the Septemvri-Dobrinishte narrow gauge railway began in 1921, and nowadays it is an emblem of tourism in the Rhodope region.
