Experts report a decline in real estate transactions, but not in prices

There is a 12% decrease in the volume of transactions for the sale of real estate and an increase in prices by almost the same percentage. This is what experts in the field of real estate report at the annual conference of agents and brokers, which took place in Burgas on November 3-4, reported BNR correspondent in Burgas Daniela Kostadinova. Despite the drop in the number of transactions, compared to 2021, as well as new construction, where they report a 50% drop, prices are not falling due to greater demand.

According to the chairman of the branch association, Alexander Boychev, there are no artificially inflated prices in the sale of real estate, and the homes are massively sold before the buildings are built.

In Sofia, the average prices are currently around 1,500 euros per square meter, and in some places they reach up to 4,000. Prices vary according to quality, neighborhoods and transport accessibility.
