Boyko Borisov: We now have a new alliance of convenience - of pro-Russian parties

The results of the local elections have shown that there is already a new alliance of convenience - of parties that "support Russia and Putin". These are We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) and Vazrazhdane," GERB leader Boyko Borissov said at a press conference. Both PP-DB and Vazrazhdane were playing against GERB everywhere, he said. In his words, GERB was the third political force in these elections, and the party got twice as many votes and municipal councillors as PP-DB.

Borissov explained the low turnout by saying that people were tired of hypocrisy.
