Flight cancellations and diversions at Sofia airport due to high winds

Due to strong winds, an Austrian Airlines scheduled flight from Vienna could not land in Sofia this evening. It was diverted to Bucharest.

According to the Sofia Airport website, a flight to Rome was also cancelled due to the bad weather, another flight from Frankfurt was diverted and flights from Dubai and Milan were both cancelled.
