An exhibition prepared by the National Museum of Military History is dedicated to the complex puzzle of the military and political relations between Bulgaria and the three countries that played a key role in the history of the Third Bulgarian State (1878-1946) - Turkey, Russia and Germany.

The exhibition "Enemy/Friend" was opened in the Naval Museum in Varna personally by the Bulgarian Minister of Defence Todor Tagarev. It arouses the interest of today's Bulgarians by covering the period between Bulgaria's Liberation and the Second World War, when inter-state relations went from friendly to hostile and vice versa.

The exhibition traces several iconic stories related to events and people whose destinies were marked by interstate relations.
