The members of the US film academy watched the film Límite by Bulgarian film director George Nicholas. The screening took place as part of the film’s campaign for the academy awards, the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Los Angeles announced on Facebook. The event was attended also by the Consul General of Bulgaria in Los Angeles Boyko Hristov.
George Nicholas is also author of the screenplay. Límite tells a story inspired by real events. “Manuel is a 16-year-old living in Tijuana, Mexico with his grandfather while his mom works in the U.S. When he meets a girl, he sees an opportunity to assert his independence, but what he doesn't know about her will push him to the limit,” writes the platform IMDB about the film. Assistant producer of Límite is the director’s wife Eliza Bonev. The music is by Penka Kouneva.
