Bulgaria is preparing new measures to help the integration of Ukrainian refugees

Bulgaria is preparing new measures aimed at assisting the full integration of the Ukrainian refugees in this country.

“They should feel protected, but also fully accepted in this country,” said Minister of Labour and Social Policy Ivanka Shalapatova during a meeting with the ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk.  The measures are aimed at labour market integration, adult training and social assistance.  

According to data of the National Employment Agency, almost 6,000 Ukrainians have found a job with the help of the help of job centres in the period from 1 March, 2022 until 31 October, 2023.
