Rumen Radev: Transition to green economy must not compromise quality of life

"Measures to combat climate change should not be limited to reducing harmful emissions; extreme weather events such as unprecedented temperature records, forest fires, floods and storms require decisive action," President Rumen Radev said in his speech at the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai, reports BNR correspondent Mira Stefanova.
According to the Head of State, the main challenge in the transition to a green economy is to ensure that this transformation does not endanger the standard and quality of life of citizens and does not undermine competitiveness. This, he says, requires innovative approaches and the use of the latest technologies.
