51% of Bulgarians voice readiness to vote for European Parliament

According to 72% of EU citizens and 57% of Bulgarians, their country benefits from being part of the Community, according to a Eurobarometer survey commissioned by the European Parliament. 

For 61% of residents in the EU and 48% of respondents in Bulgaria, the EU is something positive. 

10 % of all Europeans and 12% of Bulgarians have a negative opinion of the EU. Citizens in the EU put democracy in first place among European values - 38%, in second place are the protection of human rights and freedom of speech for 27 %. 

For Bulgarians, the first place is the freedom of movement - 40%, and the second place is the rule of law for 30%. 

68% of the EU and 51% of the Bulgarians expressed readiness to vote in the upcoming June elections for MEPs. 16 percent of all Europeans and 30 percent of Bulgarians said they would not go to vote.

Only about 2% of Bulgarians chose the answer that their standard of living has risen as the most accurate answer on an individual level. 23% answered that they do not expect any change, and pessimism prevails at 72%. The data for all respondents in the EU are similar.

The difficulty in paying bills is significantly greater for Bulgarians than for the average European. 15% versus 9 for the EU answered that they experience such difficulties almost always, 44% - sometimes, against an EU value of 28%.
