NSI: 3.6% of Bulgarian enterprises use AI technologies

21.7% of Bulgarian companies use enterprise resource planning software. A smaller proportion of companies have a customer relationship management application - 10.5%, or use business intelligence software - 4.2%, according to data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) for 2023. 


One in five companies (21.9%) use data analytics. The main sources of analytical data used by businesses are transactional records, such as sales and payment data (73.1%). Companies using artificial intelligence technologies account for 3.6%, with use more common among companies with 250 or more employees (13.8%). 17.5% of enterprises use paid cloud computing services to reduce hardware and software costs.
