Weather forecast for 10 December

Partly cloudy, fog over the Black Sea coast on Sunday

Sunday will be cloudy with fair to mostly sunny weather in Central Bulgaria. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 4°C and 1°C, maximum between 3°C and 8°C. In Sofia the minimum temperature will be around minus 1°C, the maximum - up to 6°C. 

There will be considerable cloud cover over the mountain resorts with patchy, medium and high clouds and moderate south-westerly winds. Temperatures are expected to reach -5°C at the highest Balkan peak, Musala, -4°C at Todorka above the ski resort of Bansko, -2°C at Cherni Vrh and -2°C at Borovets. In the evening, snow will fall in the western Balkan regions. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be up to 3°C, at an altitude of 2,000 metres - minus 2°C. 

Fog is expected over much of the Black Sea coast, with light southerly winds. Maximum temperatures will be in the range of 7°-9°C, slightly lower than the sea temperature. The sea swell will be 2-3. On Monday, 11 December, the weather will be sunny. Fog is possible in the lowlands and valleys in the morning hours.
