Plovdiv Airport will today receive its first flight from Manchester (UK), BTA reports, citing airport director Doichin Angelov. The new service to and from the UK will operate once a week until the end of March 2024. The tendency is to make the route a year-round service.

Plovdiv Airport currently has two scheduled flights to London. Charter flights from Belfast, from where tourists arrive for the winter resorts, are expected to start within days.
