The European statistics office Eurostat recorded a fall in EU agricultural prices, both for output and for non-investment resources, in the third quarter of 2023.
The fall follows strong price growth in the previous two years.

The sharpest drop in prices was reported in countries highly specialized in the production of cereals and/or milk such as Bulgaria (down 28% compared to the third quarter of 2022) and Hungary (down 26%).

At the same time, Greece has recorded the biggest growth - by 22%.
