Bulgaria will play host to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a match from the Davis Cup World Group I. The matches will be played on 3 and 4 February, 2024. This will be the first time Burgas will be hosting matches from the world cup tournament for men. The matches will be played at the Avenue tennis club. If it wins vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria will keep its place in World Group I, if it loses it will drop down to World Group II, Sportal sporting website writes. Bulgaria’s national team entered the elite group with a history going back more than 100 years in February after a 3-1 victory vs. New Zealand.
