About 30,000 to 50,000 companies are registered annually in Bulgaria. 90% of them fail and are not operational. Changes to the Commerce Act, which simplify the procedure for closing "dormant companies", have been published for public discussion. The changes envisage that the process would take a one-stop visit to the Registration Agency.
