The Sofia Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the defacing of the facade of the Sofia Synagogue with obituaries of Adolf Hitler praising Nazism, as reported by the Shalom organisation of Jews in Bulgaria and the Central Spiritual Council of Israel. The prosecutor's office said that operational and investigative measures would be taken to identify the perpetrators, who were masked.
