Bulgaria has functioning executive and legislative authorities with common priorities, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel said in response to Vice President Iliana Iotova’s criticism that the government is Team B, which is subordinate to Team A comprising party leaders in Parliament.

Mariya Gabriel refused to comment on the future cabinet lineup after the rotation and noted that the ministers should be left alone to do their job. She spoke at the House of Europe in Sofia during the conference: "Young people and Bulgaria's foreign policy strategy: the critical voice". "The new generation needs a clear and defined perspective for a peaceful, prosperous, free and democratic Bulgaria, which actively participates in international life and upholds universal values," Mariya Gabriel said at the forum.
