The Bulgarian Mountain Rescue Service has warned that there is a risk of avalanches in the mountains in the next few days. The conditions for hiking are good only in the lower parts.

"Tourists should keep in mind that in most mountains it rained all night and the temperatures are positive. The places where there is a serious snow cover are not suitable for hiking", said the mountain rescuers.

The lift facilities in the mountain resorts operate according to schedule.
