12th edition of Bulgarian Woman of the Year Award

The Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad announced the start of the twelfth edition of the annual award "Bulgarian Woman of the Year". With its initiative, the agency wants to emphasize the significant role of Bulgarian women abroad, who manage to preserve Bulgarian traditions. 

The award bears the name of St. Zlata Muglenska, whose image symbolizes the traditional virtues of the Bulgarian woman - beauty, firmness, will in the most difficult situations and human dignity. Bulgarian women living outside their homeland who have contributed to the preservation of Bulgarian national self-awareness and the cultural identity of our compatriots around the world can be nominated for the award.
