Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on January 25.  It is a special Thursday here for all of us working at the Bulgarian National Radio as we celebrate 89 years of the BNR on the air.

We start with a summary of the leading news stories from Bulgaria and the weather forecast for tomorrow.

Next, marking the day of our media outlet, the BNR, we bring you the voices of our friends and collaborators from the Bulgarian communities in the US, Germnay, Italy who say “We appreciate your work and we need you”.

In the final minutes of our podcast, as always, we will listen to Bulgarian music - today it’s a pop classic already 40 years old yet full of smiles.
