Bulgarian fencers take gold and bronze in Romania

Nikolay-Tomas Georgiev has won the gold medal in one of the prestigious Riposta Cup saber competitions for male and female cadets in Bucharest (Romania), the Bulgarian Fencing Federation announced. In the final, Bulgaria's Georgiev defeated Thomas Billod from France with 15:11 and deservedly won the gold medal.

In the cadet team women's saber competition, Bulgaria's team consisting of Maya Antonova, Ralitsa Gadjeva, Natalie Mishineva and Viktoria Vitliemova won the bronze medals after defeating Azerbaijan 45:32 in the bronze medal match.
