Ruse will apply for becoming one of the UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy, the director of the Ruse Historical Museum, Prof. Nikolai Nenov, has told BTA. According to him, Ruse needs a goal that will mobilize the forces and creative energy of non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions and civic society.
He added that the benefit of UNESCO Creative Cities Network is not necessarily material. "Of course, there will be development for tourism as well.
