Ministry of Sport awards best athletes for 2023

The Ministry of Youth and Sport will today award the best Bulgarian athletes at the "Sport Glory of Bulgaria 2023" ceremony.

Winners of Olympic and Paralympic medals from the World and European Championships will also be honoured. Each medallist will additionally receive a bonus from the Bulgarian Sports Totalisator, which has provided BGN 110 000 (about 55 000 euro).

Three other special awards for outstanding sporting achievements will also be presented at the ceremony, reinforcing the authority of Bulgarian sport on the world stage.
