If there are no arguments why Bulgarian citizens should pay more for mobile services, we will use all state mechanisms to prevent an unregulated increase in fees, Economy Minister Bogdan Bogdanov told bTV on the occasion of the price indexation of the three mobile operators from February 1.

For the third year in a row, operators simultaneously announce higher prices for their services, referring to clauses in contracts with consumers.

The minister explained that the first meeting with representatives of mobile operators will take place next week. It should clarify the arguments for the increase in prices for mobile services, as well as see the financial results, profits and operating costs of the service holders.

"It must be explained very clearly why Bulgarian citizens have to pay more", comments Bogdan Bogdanov.
