Sofia Municipality provides free preventive examinations for the elderly

Sofia Municipality and the University Multispecialty Hospital for Active Treatment "Lozenets" are starting a long-term campaign for prevention and health care of the residents of the old people's homes on the territory of the municipality. More than 500 people are expected to be screened at four institutions.

The first free preventive vascular examinations will be held today at the Home for the elderly "Nadezhda".

Sofia Municipality informs that a priority in its policy is to provide a good living environment for senior citizens in homes and quality medical care in order to improve their well-being.
