The co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov said that during the upcoming rotation in the cabinet, Mariya Gabriel, who is expected to replace Nikolai Denkov as prime minister, should not retain her position as foreign minister. "I know what it's like to be prime minister - it means having responsibility for all ministries and this task is so heavy that it's not good to combine more than one role," Petkov commented. According to Kiril Petkov, the so-called "assemblage" of parties will not break up "because of claims to a ministerial position".

"There is no clarity about the cabinet after the rotation, the only pre-agreed thing - that Nikolai Denkov would become Minister of Education, was not respected by PP," GERB-SDS MP Delyan Dobrev told Nova TV. According to him, the current prime minister has given an ultimatum to become foreign minister after the rotation. Mariya Gabriel's profile suggests that she should keep her position because she has experience in this field, the MP said. "The assemblage has suffered a complete failure", he added.
